At Bluebell Bushcraft, we've been incredibly lucky with the various sites in which we've operated.
From Terra Amata farm in West Chiltington, where it all started, via St Andrews Farm in Billingshurst, to our current location at Lewards Copse, Warminghurst.
For the past 8 years, each woodland has provided a safe space for children and adults to come and connect with the natural space, flora, fauna and each other in birthday parties, holiday clubs, nursery groups and adult training.
However, the nature of these small spaces means that, to keep them as functioning eco-systems, they need to be protected from over use.
We are now at a point where, to continue our work with over 900 children per year, we are searching for a new, larger and more permanent space to call home.
This comes with its own challenges and exciting opportunities, opening up new possibilities for:
social prescription and forest therapies,
developing and increasing our holiday provision,
offering wild camping experiences
providing free places for holiday provision through grants for low income households
If you have ever attended an event or project run by Bluebell Bushcraft, and appreciate the value it has given to yourself, your children or family, please consider looking at the attached link.
Please consider sharing it with friends and family.
As always, we are incredibly grateful for your support, recommendation and patronage. It is because of generosity with these things, that Bluebell Bushcraft has been able to grow to the company it is today.

Bluebell Bushcraft is run by me, Matt Harder, based in the picturesque South Downs of Sussex.
I'm a qualified teacher and Forest School leader with over 10 years experience teaching survival and Bushcraft skills.
Ever since I was small, I loved being outdoors.
Whether it was woodland, hillside or coastline, I was always happiest in my wellies and waterproofs!
My years in education have shown that it is becoming increasingly more important that children connect with our landscape, not only to understand the impact that we have on it, but also the impact it can have on us. We need to be able to take time to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty around us, or we might find that one day, it has disappeared without us noticing.
As both a Primary School teacher and Forest School leader, I am passionate about the way children are educated, and how they learn about and experience the world around them.
I firmly believe that the ethos of Forest School is entirely transferable to the non-woodland settings of everyday classroom practice. The key elements which enable successful learning in Forest School settings can be applied to teaching any subject to any age of learner.
Alongside the Forest School, CPD and Inset training within schools, I also offer bespoke parties and birthday parties, family and friend get togethers and corporate team building event days.
All necessary Covid-19 precautions are taken, following government guidelines to ensure social distancing where appropriate, and providing a safe environment in which to enjoy the outdoors.
Tailored to your individual requirements, my outdoor adventure and Bushcraft parties are perfect for adventure seeking youngsters.
Why not book a family and friends day, with time to spend enjoying the natural environment and learning a few woodland crafts at the same time.
For businesses and organisations who want to empower, inspire and relax their staff, Bushcraft and team building events are the ultimate pick-me-up.
